U.S. Greenlights Potential USD1.85B F-35 Support Sale to Poland
The DSCA announced it has submitted the mandatory certification to Congress, signaling progress toward the deal. This comprehensive package includes equipment and services designed to support the operational readiness of the Polish Air Force’s F-35 fleet. Key components encompass major and minor upgrades, spare parts, software, detailed technical documentation, and contractor engineering support.
The DSCA indicated that the deal is intended to bolster the security of a NATO ally and enhance Poland’s ability to respond to both current and future threats. The agency also stressed that the sale would not change the military balance in the region.
"There will be no adverse impact on US defense readiness as a result of this proposed sale," the statement concluded.
